The pride of our collection is the 1929

Magirus which is one of Calgary Fire

Department's original apparatus.

Also in the collection of apparatus we have a 1948 Seagrave 85' aerial: and a 1959 International 85' aerial - both original Calgary Fire Department trucks: a 1941 Internatioinal Crash Rescue from Shepard Airbase during WW2: a 1954 Seagrave Pumper originally from Dumont, New Jersey; and a 1928 Gotfredson from Weyburn Saskatchewan. We also have a 1908 Horse drawn Pumper and hand drawn chemical wagons and two 1928 Bickle Hose Tenders with sequential serial numbers - both need help, and a 1943 Ford Pump from the Alyth Railway Yards.

We have pictures dating back to 1873 of Calgary when it was just beginning - when the tallest building was two stories high and it was a livery stable. The pictures include all important events as Calgary grew from a Fort to the City it is today.

We have turn of the century firefighting equipment including helmets, duty coats, nozzles, hoses, logbooks, flashes and other memorabilia of the history of firefighting in Calgary.

We have the original switchboard from the first alarm room for the Calgary Department.
